Susan Phan Carpinteyro, MD, attended St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, earning her medical degree in 2014. From there, she went on to the Christus Health Spohn/Texas A&M University School of Medicine in Corpus Christi, Texas, completing the institution’s Family Medicine Residency Program in 2017. Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Phan Carpinteyro joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s medical staff in January 2026 and speaks both English and Vietnamese with her patients. As a first-generation citizen, Dr. Phan Carpinteyro witnessed many family members succumb to preventable medical conditions and practices medicine to help others maintain their health and prevent complications from chronic conditions. As a Family Medicine physician, she provides primary care for patients of all ages with a focus on preventive care.
