I can't say enough about Dr. Pateder. He saved my life, literally. He fixed a botched surgery that another provider from a different practice performed. Dr. Pateder is one of the best Dr.'s I have seen. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Patedar came across thorough. Before him, his PA came in and did the physical examination and talked briefly about symptoms etc. This helped getting more of quality talk-time with the doctor. He was open to hear our questions and concerns. The Dr. didn't prescribe any unnecessary procedures. Excellent overall experience.

More about Dr. Dhruv Pateder, MD, FAAOS
Dr. Pateder specializes in all aspects of spinal surgery ranging from complex scoliosis surgery to newer muscle sparing minimally invasive procedures. He is dual trained in both neurosurgery and orthopaedic spinal surgery. He did his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore followed by a combined neurosurgery and orthopaedic spine surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. After completing his fellowship, he worked as an attending spine surgeon at the world renowned Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. There he was involved in the care of many professional athletes and members of the United States Ski Team.
Dr. Pateder has done extensive research in the field of spine surgery (particular with the treatment of scoliosis). His work has been presented at multiple national and international meetings and his research has resulted in the publication of numerous scientific articles and book chapters. He has won multiple awards for both his clinical work and his research. Dr. Pateder has also served as an instructor for other spinal surgeons wishing to learn advanced techniques in scoliosis surgery and minimally invasive decompressions and fusion procedures. In addition, he is involved in the designing and improvement of instruments used during spinal surgery.

I showed up early to fill out forms, and he didn’t see me until 50 minutes after my appointment should have started. Also, he wasn’t the one who performed the examination or saw me, he sent his PA in. He’s supposed to be good because he spends time with his patients, but he literally came in at the end of a 15 minute appointment and spent less than 6 minutes with me, regurgitated what I told the PA a different doctor said, and sent me off. I’m sort of upset I even bothered go there. I just got the bum’s rush after waiting an hour to see this guy”s PA? I booked a half hour, I want the time I booked and on time at that,

Doctor was good but I was not impressed with the way office staff treated me. I was asked to put deposit of an approximate amount that was higher than the insurance copay. The doctor did not offer anything to relieve pain but asked me to make another appt. with his fellow doctor. Disappointed because after spending time and money no real benefit!
