Dr. Callesano earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Adelphi University. She went on to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Dr. Callesano has practiced in a prestigious New York City hospital as well as in private practice.
Dr. Callesano’s clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and management of hearing loss, tinnitus, misophonia, and hyperacusis. She is a professional member of the American Tinnitus Association (ATA) and sits on the International Misophonia Research advisory board. She has been professionally trained in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) by Drs. Jastreboff. Dr. Callesano is also certified to teach Mindfulness Meditation which she has found to be a tremendous resource for her patients.
