There was an incredibly long wait time but Dr. Wang was honestly worth it. She immediately put me at ease and was very friendly. If my early afternoon appointment was late, that means she was very backed up but I never felt rushed or like she was too busy to talk to me. I will definitely go back even with the extensive wait time.

Diana Wang, MD, is a long time Austinite who went to Westlake High School, then stayed on to be a Texas Longhorn, graduating from the Plan II Honors program at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Wang went on to study medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency with the UTMB Austin program, and was one of the first Ob/Gyn resident physicians in the nation to be trained on the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System. Dr. Wang has special interest and skill in minimally invasive surgery, including single-incision laparoscopic surgery, and is committed to staying on the cutting edge of advanced surgical techniques to better women’s health. Dr. Wang practiced as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Ob/Gyn residency in Austin where she was the Director of Skills and Simulation, and introduced Single Site Laparoscopic surgery into the program.

She is rude, practically accused me of drug seeking for asking for a prescription NSAID after 4 years of seeing her and never once asking for any pain medication despite painful menstruation. Told me she couldn't help me if I wasn't willing to go on birth control, and stuck the speculum in me mid-sentence with no warning then lifted my arm for me and started doing my breast exam again with no warning. I left the office feeling triggered and awful and I will never return.
