She worked in a research position at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston prior to being accepted to the Physician Assistant program there. She served as Class President while in the UTMB program. Diane has experience in primary care, cardiovascular-thoracic surgery including limb salvage , orthopedic oncology and general orthopedics. She has extensive orthopedic spine surgery experience working previously at the Texas Back Institute.
