I was born and raised by two very hardworking and loving parents in Brooklyn NY. I grew up in a family where God was the center and taught the importance of love, compassion and helping others.
Since the age of 4, I knew I wanted to become a physician and had the opportunity to study medicine at Ross University Medical Center in Dominica West Indies. I was lucky enough to be able to return to my hometown during my clinical rotations where I fell in love with Pediatrics and went on to train in Pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, NY. .
I was invited to stay for a chief residency year where I was exposed to the administrative side of Pediatrics. Private practice best suits me because I have the opportunity to form relationships with my patients and their families. My favorite hobby is latin dancing, I am a salsera at heart and dancing makes me feel alive. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with my family. My son is my joy and he keeps me extremely busy and makes my life fun and exciting!

My daughter was bitten by dog. Dr. Lopez was not only professional but she showed empathy with her childhood experience involving dogs. She never is rushed to get us out and she is always genuinely concern. My 15 year old daughter, who is shy, feels Dr. Lopez is easy to talk about her health.
