About Dr. Geeta Kumar
Dr. Geeta Kumar is an experienced board certified pediatrician who has been in practice since 2000. She believes in treating each child with compassion and is thorough in her care of every patient. She develops an open relationship with parents and children to provide the best possible medical service for her patients from birth to adolescence.
Dr. Kumar believes in treating the child as a whole, taking into account the physical AND psychological influences on growth and development. Over the years, in treating children from every corner of the world she respects cultural differences and enjoys the diversity in her patients.
She completed medical school from UMDNJ and pediatric residency training from Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark. Her inner city training and experience in a large suburban group for 15 years has offered her a broad range of cases. With privileges at four local hospitals and proximity to New York City she has developed a large referral network of experienced specialists to provide the best possible care.

The office staff and the Doctor were through, friendly, and efficient while still being warm. The doctor listens and took action right away on the items we discussed. All in all it was a great visit.

First time parents, first pediatric appointment and everything went better than expected. Dr. Kumar was absolutely amazing. She was willing to answer any and all of the questions my husband and I had. Everyone in the office was pleasant and warm welcoming. It was a great first impression and we’re grateful.
