Dr. Zika was great and answered all my questions. Extremely long wait time. I’d suggest giving patients the option to go next door to look at lenses or sit in waiting room. Waited more than an hour from scheduled appointment time.

Saw Dr. Gladdis Thomas and not the Dr listed. She is a wonderful Dr. very through and explains everything so that you can understand her. I will continue to see Dr. Thomas as long as she continues to work. Love her bedside manner and I've been seeing her for the last few years and have never had a wait problem.

Dr. Dmitriy Zike was born in Arkhangelsk, Russia and lived there for several years before moving to the Bryan/College Station area in Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University at College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. During his undergraduate studies, he worked for a local optometrist where he became very familiar with ophthalmic products and practices. He then proceeded to pursue his optometric studies at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas. At Rosenberg, Dr. Zike earned many accolades and awards in both academic and clinical course work. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rosenberg School of Optometry and currently resides and practices in San Antonio. Dr. Zike enjoys managing ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and dry eyes, as well as fitting soft and hard contact lenses. In his free time Dr. Zike enjoys watching and participating in sports such as basketball and tennis, watching movies and TV shows, listening to music, and enjoying the fine dining cuisine of San Antonio.

Dr. Zike was fantastic and more thorough than any before, he really did an extraordinary job. So detailed and confident. Though I told him during the examination that sharp vision both near and far was not possible (based on all that I'd been told over the past 15 years of wearing glasses) he persisted that it indeed was. He was right! The vision is simply astonishing. Seriously, I put the new glasses on and was AMAZED. Thank you Dr. Zike! Ask for Dmitriy Zike.
