Dr. Curtis earned his medical degree from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago and completed a three-year surgical residency at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix. He continues to work with the veterans at the clinic part-time.
Dr. Curtis enjoys all aspects of podiatric medicine and has a special interest in the management of diabetic foot complications, sports medicine, and trauma. Research interests include infectious diseases and diabetic foot ulcers. His faculty teaching responsibilities include directing courses in Advanced Podiatric Surgery and Trauma, Podiatric Medicine, and Emergency Medicine.
