Excellect! We just moved to DC from the midwest and needed an eye doctor. Our neighbors recommended Dr. Adamopoulos. The technology at the facility is impressive as well as the selection of eyewear...from conseverative to hip. After working with a very knowledgeable eyewear consultant named Elizabeth, I went with "hip".

I really liked Dr. Adamopoulos! She was efficient, explanatory, and just an enjoyable doctor to see. The sole reason why I am not rating this business as 'highly recommended' was because the staff was a bit standoff-ish, and pushy when it came to selecting frames. But when it comes to actual eyecare, they're up-to-date with the technology, the knowledge, and take care to give you only exactly what you need.

Dr. Adamopoulos’s first academic achievement was a double major in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida, where she built a solid foundation for her graduate degree as a Doctor of Optometry obtained from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in June 1998.
During her last couple of academic years Dr. Adamopoulos had the opportunity to sharpen her inherent clinical skills through a series of rotations at different types of medical settings on the East Coast. It was a valuable experience that offered the Doctor exposure to a completely diversified group of patients.

I used this site to find several doctors for my best friend who is legally blind. Everything we read about Dr. Adamopoulos online was true...she is a God-send. She gave us hope when all hope seemed lost; because of her my best friend will soon regain sight out of his left eye because of her referral to another specialist for a surgical an 'eye-washing' procedure. Her staff was very patient, friendly and helpful as well. Many blessings to you and your staff Dr. Adamopoulos!

Dr. Adamopoulos was very cordial and courteous. I went through the routine eye exam first with an assistant and then was sent to the room to wait. I waited all of five minutes before the doctor came in, greeted me, and got down to business. She answered all my questions, gave me detailed answers, and recommended that I should switch contacts. I am very pleased with my visit and will continue to see Dr. Adamopoulos in the future.

I absolutely love my specialist and their staff! Everyone is extremely nice and very patient. I was there for 4.5 hrs w/contacts for first time! Plus I drive 2.5 hr each way to my specialist for any eye appointment. That is how awesome they are! Most definitely recommend this specialist and staff! Amazing! They also have fashionable frames reasonably priced. Plus they have the ability to make glasses on site which saves you time.
