About Dr. Caryn Zimmerman

Dr. Zimmerman graduated in 2015 from West Virginia University with a BS in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish. She continued her education at Massachusetts of College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and graduated with a Doctorate in Optometry in 2021. She completed a residency in primary care optometry with an emphasis in community health and ocular disease in Dorchester MA. Through her final year rotations and residency Dr. Zimmerman gained experience in pediatrics, myopia control, dry eye, and co-management of ocular disease.

The experience was great! I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever had such a thorough annual eye exam. I walked away with a new prescription for my glasses and contacts and did not realize how much better seeing could be! ?? The staff from check-in to checkout was very friendly and transparent about process!
