Dr. Halifman is a true professional, extremely personable and knowledgeable. After I opted out of my initial pediatrician because of the unorganized nature of the practice. I found Dr. Halifman closer @ Glenrock and highly recommended. As first time parents I prefer the intimacy of a solo practice. She and her staff are extremely efficient. There’s never a wait- time for appointments and I even had an emergency once with baby boy and she came in early opened the practice @7am for a high fever and rash! I adore her!

The doctor is very knowledgeable and great with kids. My daughter, who usually is very scared of doctors, loves her and follows all her directions. She is always available to answer calls as well. I'm so happy we found her.

Glen Rock Pediatrics is a solo practice that provides care to children from birth to 21 years of age, serving Bergen County, NJ. Being a small practice, we have the luxury of providing our patients with individual attention and thorough care. Our patients can be sure that every time they come, they will be seen by the same doctor. You will not have to tell your story again and again. We will know you and your child.
When we were designing our office, we put all our effort into creating a child friendly environment which could help our patients overcome their fear of the doctor’s office and turn it into a fun adventure. Our new, fully renovated office has separate waiting areas for sick and well patients. One of our rooms is specifically designated for newborns and infants, a second for young children, and a third for young adults.
Despite being the only doctor in the practice, Dr. Halifman is available for her patients 24/7. When she is away on vacation or for any kind of emergency, coverage will be provided by a group of excellent and experienced local pediatricians.
Dr. Dorina Halifman is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a board certified pediatrician with more than 10 years of experience. She graduated in 1994 from the Medical Academy of Latvia and completed her internship at the State Children’s Hospital in Riga, Latvia. After immigrating to the U.S., Dr. Halifman successfully passed her board exams and completed her pediatric residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. She has practiced since 2008 in Scarsdale, Westchester County, NY and lives in Scarsdale, NY with her husband and two children.
