Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dornechia George Carter, M.D., is an award-winning board-certified Dallas-Fort Worth area dermatologist who has called the Metroplex home since 2011. Her scope of practice encompasses medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with a special interest in psoriasis, skin of color, skin cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. She takes pride in tailoring treatment plans for each patient’s individual needs and educating patients about their skin.
Community
As someone who enjoys public outreach and volunteerism, she her time as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omega Alpha Omega Chapter of Greater Frisco. She also participates in various DFW-area health fairs and serves as a mentor to college students, medical students, and residents. She is also a member of the Greater Frisco Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, an organization with its heart set in creating educational and social opportunities for the enrichment of all children.
