Dr. Doron Blumenfeld graduated Medicine at the University of Milan, Italy. He did his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, Israel and at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr Blumenfeld is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Israel and the United States. He later completed a Fellowship in Urogynecology at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and a research Fellowship in Gynecological Oncology at the City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, California. He is currently in private practice at Women's Healthcare Associates and a clinical instructor in Obstetrics and Gynecology for Family Practice Residency at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center. He has been a recipient of the award for Outstanding Clinical Teacher by the Family Practice Residency at the Santa Monica-UCLA Hospital.
In addition to English, Dr Blumenfeld is fluent in Romanian, Hebrew, Italian, and French. His main interests are infertility, the evaluation and correction of various forms of urinary incontinence and surgical correction of vaginal and uterine prolapse.

Unbelievable disappointing!
With all of the great reviews, we really wanted to like him. My husband and I went in yesterday for our first ultra-sound. Though we had an early appointment, we were taken in about a good 20 minutes late, oh well it happens.
Overall the doctor is nice, but I guess that is all he is. Unfortunately he said he did not hear a heartbeat (only 7 weeks pregnant), and that he wanted to follow up blood work to confirm. We would do first round of blood work during that visit, and again a few days later.. BUT he would call me for sure the next day. He even confirmed with the nurses in front of us, that the results would be ready the next day and he would definitely call. He repeatedly that multiple times!
Here we are the next day, it s 4:30 pm and we are anxious but receiving no call! SO I called the office, and am told he is out today.. They then go and check and blood work is not done. I get that a day turn around is fast, but then don't promise on something you can't deliver! On top of that he is out on Monday due to the Jewish holidays (totally fair reason to be out on Monday, but FYI the holiday doesn't start until Sunday night). Now I have to go 4 whole extra days waiting to find out if I had a miscarriage!
Why would you do that to your patience.. This is a horrible start and there is no way I will trust you to come back, nor recommend you to anyone!
Guess patience are not a priority.

I waited for a long time before being seen but once I was seen it was a great experience. I think the wait time was due to an administrative mix up and not business as usual. So I'll likely head back.
