Dr. Odunukwe was very polite and thorough. Despite the receptionist called in sick on the morning of the day when I had my appointment and Dr. Odunukwe had to take care of everything on his own, my visit still went very well without any disruption. I scheduled my appointment for having my vision checked as I have been having hard time with my contact lens that were only less than 6 months old. The doctor found out I had very severe seasonal allergy. He prescribed eye drops and gave me some coupons for consideration. The doctor also instructed me how to take care of my contact lens at home. He was extremely patient during my visit when I asked tons of questions. He was not only humble, courteous but also very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend him to everyone who has the need for vision care.

My experience with Dr. Ebube was excellent. He was super professional, thorough, and kind. He explained all of the procedures and set clear expectations at the onset of my appointment. He explained my exrays and his findings in great detail. I also reveived a soft copy of all my records from the visit via email the next day. Additionally, he inquired about non related medical issues and encouraged me to take care of myself and seek treatment from the appropriate health care profressional. I will see him annually.

Dr. Ebube Odunukwe founded his practice in 1989. His goal was to create an innovative and caring atmosphere where patients would receive the highest quality medical services, along with personalized attention.
Dr. Odunukwe began his career as one of the first Certified Ophthalmic Technologists in this country. Finding that his dedication was to complete eye care medical and surgical, he attended Columbia University in New York and went on to earn his degree in medicine from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York and took a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Edward Harkness Eye Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York.

Dr. Odunukwe was very kind and knowledgeable. You can tell he has been doing this for many years. My only problem was that the nurse or medical assistant sat out front and asked me person health questions out in the waiting room. There was no one in the waiting room with us, but the receptionist was at her desk. That is my only real complaint here. Other than that, everyone was very friendly and it was a very quick, painless visit!

Overall I was able to have the condition of my eye checked. However the office is very outdated and had a net and fly problem. The machines were also dusty. Him and his staff were friendly but not proactive of seeing what insurance coverage is offered based on a recommendation. Anything offered he wanted to charge for.

I did not enjoy him at all. He was pushy. He was downright RUDE! He wouldn't listen to anything I was trying to say, and he was trying to rush me out of the door after I had waited OVER AN HOUR to see him. I will NEVER go back to see him again. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to see him. Worst doctor visit of my life.

Dr. Odunukwe explained everything thoroughly. He explained what he was going to do and the steps he was going to take. He also took some time to show me pictures of my eyes and break down the different parts as well as explain what he was looking for and what would be abnormal. I appreciated his patience. His assistants were very personable as well. Will definitely recommend.

Completely baffling experience. Dr. Odunukwe chided, taunted and berated me repeatedly for asking questions about procedures and their results. He asked me if i had hearing problems, called me an imbecile, and asked if i "had a dictionary." When i was unsure about getting my pupils dilated, he stood before me, gesticulating, furious at me for "wasting his time" and shouting for me to "just say yes or no!" He stopped the examination midway and said i was not welcome. I decided to remain in the waiting room to try to resolve things, to either finish my exam or sort out the billing, and he had me escorted out by security. He was very polite to everyone else in the waiting room, I must have really rubbed him the wrong way with my obstinacy, and he didn't know how to manage his emotions. A competent doctor, based on what little of that i experienced, just poor social skills or an anger problem.

The wait was 30 plus minutes (with no apology or recognition). The doctor answered 3 phone calls while he was treating me (with no, "excuse me"...nothing... Just picked up the phone in the middle of any testing or conversation we were having). He also talked very fast with a thick accent, so it was difficult to understand him.

The doctor was so amazing with my three-year-old daughter. He made the exam seem like she was doing nothing but looking at neat pictures. He made her feel at ease which took a big weight off of me and made me feel at ease, also!!!
