Dr. Edgar Celis trained at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in both anesthesiology and pain management after completing a general surgery internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Prior to joining Pain Medicine Consultants, he worked in both private practice and leading academic centers on the east coast including Boston, Miami and most recently New York. His focus and interests are comprehensive pain management and advanced minimally invasive techniques, including ultrasound guided nerve injections and spinal cord stimulation. Dr. Celis maintains double board certifications in anesthesiology and pain management. A native of Colombia, he speaks spanish fluently. During his free time, he enjoys playing squash and soccer and spending time outdoors with his wife and children.
