This was my first appt with Dr Shakya. The staff there were so nice, polite and friendly. It surely made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Waiting time was short, but also I was early. There was no other patients in the waiting room - not crowded at all. Dr Shakya came in fast too. She was friendly and very clear with her explanations and medical suggestions. She was also very tentative to whatever I have to say. Carefully listening to my concerns and reasonings. She understands my POV and would work around my suggestions. She was also helpful when I asked to share her notes. Printed it out on the spot. Which is great! An expert and a very recommended doctor.

I must say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who made me feel comfortable and at ease.
The office itself had a calming atmosphere, which helped alleviate any initial nervousness I had about visiting a new doctor. The waiting area was clean and well-organized, and I was promptly attended to by the receptionist.
The examination was thorough, and the doctor's expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the entire visit. I left the office feeling confident in the care I had received and reassured about my health concerns.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr.Shakya. Despite expressing my concerns and requesting specific tests, she seemed disinterested and failed to address my needs. Her discouragement throughout the process left me feeling unheard and dissatisfied with the level of care provided. A patient should never feel as if they’re begging their doctor to address their concerns or run a simple test. Never coming back.

It was clear during my appt that I was not Dr. Shakya’s main focus. She was texting and stepped out to take a call. She was not very attentive to my main issue and really just kinda brushed off my concerns as “normal”.

The wait was a little long. However, once seen, she took her time with me. I never felt rushed or that she was in a hurry to see her nxt appointment. I felt like she truly listened to me and gave me her undivided attention, and that is extremely rare nowadays. The wait time was most definitely worth it for the attention I received.
