Dr. Lisa loves being a family doctor! She opened her office in 1990 and many of her patients have been seeing her for 20 years. She is trained in all aspects of general medicine, including care for acute and chronic illness, care for infants, children and adults, minor surgery, and some counseling. She looks at the whole person, unlike some of the narrower specialties. Generally, she takes care of at least 90% of the problems that enter the office and can arrange for referrals to the appropriate specialists for any problems she does not treat.
Health involves more than treating sickness when it occurs. Your state of well-being depends on nutrition, exercise, the environment you live in and your ability to deal with stress, among many other things. Dr. Lisa would like to work with you to create a plan to help you achieve the best health possible. Together with two other physicians and a physician assistant, they approach treatment in the same way and work well as a team. Dr. Lisa hopes you can get to know the whole team and feel comfortable with having any one of us provide your care.
Office hours are advance appointments only. We do reserve a certain number of appointments for patients that need to be seen on that same day, so if you don't see availability on ZocDoc, feel free to call the office directly to check on same day availability. We ask that you let the person scheduling your appointment know what the nature of the problem is so that we may schedule the appropriate amount of time. Sometimes, if you bring up additional issues during an appointment, we may need to schedule another appointment in order to best deal with your concerns.
