I was looking for a new internist, and chose to see Dr. Belanger as one of three doctors to try out. I was particularly interested in finding out her perceptions of a serious and hard to diagnose illness I had been dealing with for several years. She didn't want to talk about this illness, and steered the conversation in other directions. I felt not heard, not understood, and did not get the information I needed to know whether she would be able to help me with my major problem. As a result, I will not choose her as my new internist.

This was a new patient appointment and she was incredibly patient and thorough. I was amazed at how much time she spent answering questions and looking over old records with me. Such a change from my previous doctor. I'm very much appreciative!

Dr. Belanger did not listen or attempt to understand my medical concerns and when I tried to discuss the history of my health condition experience she seemed disinterested. She was also dismissive of my prior history of treatment, suggesting that I shouldn't be taking medications that have been effective and have been prescribed by a specialist. Instead she made off-the-cuff treatment and medication recommendations that are not indicated for my condition. I won't be going back.

Very thorough and quick, without feeling rushed. She was extremely knowledgeable and communicated effectively throughout the visit. Highly recommend! Best doctors visit I have had in a while.
