I liked that my first visit with Dr. Feingold didn't start in the office. After I scheduled my appointment online, she emailed me asking for a time to talk. She said she wanted to make sure I was coming for a problem she could help with so i wouldn't waste my money. I had already wasted alot of money on psychiatrists who couldn't help me so this was already refreshing. her evaluation covered all bases: under, over and through them. She spent alot of time discussing her impressions and explaining how she came to her conclusions. She was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. Her fee was worth it. I have never received the personal attention from any other psychiatrist (or any other doctor for that matter).

My daughter instantly connected with Dr. Feingold. She was very accommodating with scheduling because of my daughter's school schedule. The experience was helpful and I would strongly recommend her.

She supervises residents from NYU school of medicine and at Harlem Hospital. She won teacher of the year award at Metropolitan Hospital Center in 2012.
She completed her adult psychiatry training at Mt. Sinai school of medicine program where she was chosen as chief resident. She went on to complete a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Albert Einstein School of Medicine followed by a fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at NY Presbyterian hospital, Cornell & Columbia Universities. More recently, Dr. Feingold completed a fellowship in public psychiatry at NYU school of medicine.

I was very impressed with Dr. Feingold. She was recommended by a friend. I needed help with my long standing sleep problem. Other psychiatrists stopped after insomnia and prescribed me some sleeping pills. Dr. Feingold took alot of time to ask questions about what I thought were unrelated things. Now I realize that those unrelated things are all very related. My insomnia is a symptoms of a bigger problem. Everything now makes sense. She has been working with me to get on the right meds. She has been explaining every step when we increase medication dosages. She has been very patient because I ask a lot of questions. She tells me what I should expect and what our plan is if this one doesn't work.

I took my 15 y.o. son to see Dr. Feingold. I found her to be very professional and yet very relatable. She instantly put me and my son at ease. She helped my wife and I establish clear boundaries with him and has helped our relationship considerably in the short time we have been seeing her. She has helped my son normalize his anxiety and I really see the difference. She wasn't intrusive about medications but helped us to decide it was right for him. More importantly, she helped my son decide it was right for him. This has a very positive experience.

Dr. Feingold was very warm beginning from my first phone call. I felt she didn't rush me out like other psychiatrists and she really took her time to understand my problem. She explained to me different treatment possibilities and gave me her opinion. She seemed very knowledgeable and explained things in a way I could understand. Even though I chose a different medication than her 1st suggestion, I felt she was on board with my decision and wasn't looking down on me. I liked that she checked up on me after our visit to see how I was.

I hate writing reviews but I feel it's justified. Dr. Feingold was very professional. I didn't have to wait at all. She was very Professional. Prior to our visit, I was very nervous. She made me feel comfortable. She is easy to talk to as if you are talking to someone you've known for years. I didn't feel she was telling me what I wanted to hear but I liked her delivery. I will definitely go back.
