Dr.Enyibuaku Rita Uzoaga graduated in the Top 5% of her class from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor of Science(Biology) degree in 1996. She then attended the University of Texas Medical Branch(UTMB) at Galveston from 1997-2001 where she earned her Doctor of Medicine(MD) degree. Afterwards, she completed a 3-year residency training at the Brazos Valley Family Medicine Residency Program where, due to outstanding performance, she served as the Chief Resident Officer from 2003-2004. These were all supported by her passion for helping others.
Her compassion, wonderful bedside manner, and knowledge as a physician have earned her the respect and gratitude of her patients, and she strives to continually deliver the best quality care.

The wait time was a killer. Other than that, Dr. Uzoaga listens to you and is very patient. Diagnoses the problem and keeps you calm.

Dr. Rita really listened to me as I explained my problem. She took down notes, asked me questions, answered my questions, made recommendations and in general had the best professional bedside manner. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends.
