I had never seen a Podiatrist before, but Dr. Stern immediately put me at ease. A couple of days prior to my visit to see Dr Stern, my ankle turned while stepping off the curb. It bothered me immediately, and I didn't think much of it, except it started to swell, and my family advised me to see a doctor. Dr. Stern immediately assessed the problem, and recommended a course of treatment, that included wrapping my ankle, giving it support, so that I could walk with little pain. The support staff were nice and friendly, and the office clean.

Walking into Dr. Stern's office, I was greeted by a friendly staff member, who immediately took my information. After a short wait time I was ushered into a treatment room, where, Dr. Stern joined me only a short time later. After patiently listening to me explain about what was bothering me (I had been to several podiatrists before) he then carefully outlined a treatment plan. After the first treatment, I immediately felt relief--he then explained to me what I could do at home to help ease my pain and assist in my recovery, in addition to the remaining treatments at the office. He made a Dr's visit pleasant and I would recommend him to my friends!

My experience with Dr. Stern has been absolutely miserable. He is extremely rude, abrasive, condescending, and after being under his care for a month, I ended up in the ER following one of his "routine" follow-up procedures.

I was referred to Dr Stern by a co-worker and made my appt on zocdoc. The receptionist and nurses were very nice and helpful. Dr Stern was very thorough and professional and made sure he explained everything to me from my diagnosis down to the step by step care plan.
