Dr. Dawn A. Yamashita is a podiatrist who graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2000. Dr. Yamashita has been actively practicing for the last 19 years.

The wait was minimal, and the appointment went smoothly - it felt slightly rushed, but I can understand that doctors are busy. I was unsure if there was meant to be more examination for my foot, but my experience with Dr. Yamashita was very pleasant. She offered very helpful and honest advice and recommendations, and listened actively to my questions. My main complaint was with the initial intake by the nurse/medical assistant. I don't feel as though it was very thorough as I was not asked if I was on any medications, and I'm never sure if any of my forms or things I'm forced to fill out are ever read or recorded properly.

This doctor is great but the office is horrendous. They made an error in billing my insurance and have been impossible to reach from both myself and the insurance company. I would not recommend booking with this office unless you have endless hours available to be on the phone correcting errors or don’t care if you have to pay when your insurance denies services you didn’t even receive.

Was great service and I feel light has a feather with each step after Dr Dawn Yamashita worked on my foot.
Very clear about what needed to be done and did it with care.
Definitely didn’t feel rushed or just another patient sitting in the chair.

I've had unpleasant experiences with multiple Century Medical doctors, however, Dr.Yamashita is an exception and a wonderful, caring, respectful doctor. She is a strong communicator and knowledgeable. I also didn't experience the human to human disconnect that many doctors often have. Highly recommend!

I was actually about 10 minutes late and was terrified they’d tell me I couldn’t be seen anymore but they still did, the patient registration took about 10 mins, after that I saw the nurse who asked basic questions, then went to the Doctor. She answered all my questions and explained clearly both options I had and her opinions on them. Everybody was friendly, so I would recommend.
