We are excited to have Dr. Perucci join Women to Women OBGYN Care as its newest member as of July 2012. Dr. Perucci is happy to be practicing at home in Northern Virginia. After spending her childhood in Annandale, Virginia, Dr. Perucci attended the University of Virginia, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then attended St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. During her studies, Dr. Perucci served as President to the American Medical Student Association and was elected to Iota Epsilon Alpha International Honor Medical Society. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008.
Dr. Perucci completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, New Jersey. While in training, she was named Clinical Chief Resident and Co-Administrative Chief Resident. She completed research in mixed urinary incontinence and transvaginal suburethral sling procedures and served as resident representative to the Quality Assurance and Improvement Committee. Dr. Perucci was one of the two residents to design and implement a hospital-wide Massive Transfusion Protocol for the diagnosis and treatment of postpartum or other acute hemorrhage. With her medical school roots extending internationally, Dr. Perucci also served with the Waves of Health organization on a surgical mission to the Dominican Republic. She plans to continue international medical outreach throughout her career.
Being a native Virginian, Dr. Perucci is enthusiastic to continue her career in the community in which she was raised. Her interests include adolescent gynecology, vaginitis, high risk obstetrics and women's healthcare policy. Dr. Perucci is a member of

Dr Perucci was great. I was around ten mins late and they still squeezed me in and the lady who took my blood sample was super nice n extremely gentle. I highly recommend Dr Perucci to anyone sand everyone. This was my first time ever with a OBGYN n she was really nice. I was prepared to wait since I was late but they took me in right after I filled out my forms. Dr Perucci again is great!!!

Dr. Perucci was wonderful! She took plenty of time to explain and answer questions and has a wealth of knowledge about the latest research in women's health--very reassuring. The clinic was easy to reach and parking was affordable and plentiful. I look forward to my next visit!

Due to a snow day the day prior to my appointment Dr Perucci's schedule was packed which caused me to have to wait longer; however, the service provided and the fact that she sincerely apologized for the delay, made up for it. She's very friendly and takes the time to talk everything through.

You can tell Dr. Perucci loves her job. I've seen her twice for yearly checkups and to receive renewed prescriptions for my birth control. She is kind and actually takes the time to listen to the issues you have. She is genuine and sweet, which put me at ease, but she also is extremely competent and professional. Best OBGYN experience I've ever had by far!!

This was my first visit with Dr Perucci and I thought it went wonderfully...she really took the time to answer both my husband's and my questions. She is very knowledgable and personable...great bedside manner! I will definitely continue on with Dr Perucci as my physician... I would recommend her to others as well.

Dr. Perucci was kind, honest and straightforward about her concerns for my health. She also took the time to answer my questions and I liked that we had the opportunity to speak while I was fully clothed, before the exam. The nurse was rushed and disinterested in having a conversation with me at the start of the appointment, which I found unpleasant especially because she left the door open during our conversation. The urine sample collection was also odd; every patient's test was clearly marked - I am guessing this may be a HIPPA violation, but at a minimum it was less than ideal for privacy protection. Overall, though I would return to see Dr. Perucci again.
