We drive 45 minutes from home to see Dr. Walsh and it is worth every minute. My daughter saw her for the first time last year and this year my son also started seeing her, they both rave about her bedside manner and how great she is. Dr. Walsh is very thorough, answers questions, takes her time, and genuinely cares about her patients and their families. We highly recommend her!!

The visit was fine, the problem was scheduling. I was scheduled for a 2:15 but was not seen by the doctor until 4:15!
Dr. Walsh was kind and knowledgeable. I’m so glad to have found a pediatric eye doctor as qualified as her!

My daughter saw doctor Walsh and loved her - she is very thorough and has a calming bedside manner that eased the anxiety my daughter had going into the appointment. We live in NJ and I have no problem traveling into NY to see Dr. Walsh - she is worth the extra time!

Dr Walsh herself is phenomenal - I went in very nervous and scared because I was looking for a surgical consultation- and I left feeling both MUCH calmer and well educated. She spent so much time with me, between discussing a plan for treatment, explaining my issue to me in terms I could understand and not a ton of medical jargon (while also giving me the science names for things), and doing an overall thorough examination. VERY happy with her in terms of her care. HOWEVER - my appointment was 9:30. I got to the office AT 9:30 (usually I’m early, but gotta love NYC traffic). I was not taken BACK by a nurse until almost 10:10. She did the normal “get a history, run some preliminary tests” thing and left me in the exam room around 10:25. It wasn’t until a hair shy of 11 that Dr Walsh herself came in. Granted, she spent almost 45 minutes with me and I did NOT feel rushed in the slightest and her care was so wonderful and personable. But I was not prepared for this to then until an all day affair, and wish that offices would plan accordingly in terms of booking patients and allotting adequate time as opposed to having patients just sit around in the office. I don’t blame her personally though. Also, seems worth mentioning - the office is very clean, the chairs in the waiting room are the most comfortable waiting room chairs I’ve ever sat in (not being sarcastic!), social distancing measures were enforced, and each exam room was CLEARLY marked if it has been sanitized between patients.

Excellent, Eileen, and later Doctor Walsh, put me at ease and gave me a thorough exam. Can't praise them enough. Nice welcoming atmosphere throughout the office.
Dr. Walsh is considerate of her patent's time. She spends time so you understand what is happening and why. A great Dr. to work with.

What an amazing doctor. I have a tough kid and she couldn’t have been more patient. The whole staff came together to make it a great experience. It could have been a nightmare due to my child’s behavior, but they made it feel effortless. He left with a smile on his face.

Other than total time took from start to finish was close to 3 hours, everything else was good. Don't get me wrong. they were thorough, but too much for us as we had work to go to and unnecessary delay didn't help the cause or the experience there.
