Evelyn is my favorite allergist I've ever met. Took me a while to find someone who genuinely cared about my health and the misery I was experiencing due to allergies. Her bedside manner is amazing, her team is good too. Definitely work a visit if you are trying to figure out what your allergy issues are! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
They now see my husband as well. We went to several doctors and no one was able to to help him figure out his issues. Evelyn has definitely changed our lives!

I have now been to the office 3 times for an initial consult with initial allergy testing, a breathing test, and shot testing. After three visits, they’ve asked me to come back again for additional testing. Even though I should have come away with a treatment plan, they just keep having me come back for more tests to determine if the initial testing was correct. It’s very frustrating as each appointment is 1.5 hours and a copay.

Dr. Tolston is extremely thorough. She was the only doctor to diagnose me correctly and put me on a diet that actually worked for my body. Although I think medication options were a little bit too stressed, (diet and supplements are all I've been using to heal myself) I think she's knowledgeable and cares about her patients.

Dr. Tolston was the BEST doctor of any kind that I've been to in NY. She is so knowledgeable, kind, considerate, and just an all-around great doctor.
When I came in for my appointment and saw that the waiting room was empty, I initially thought it was just a slow day. It turns out that her office was just so efficient, that no one had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen.
Evelyn answered all my questions with great detail, and specificity. She seemed to be very meticulous about her thinking, and wrote down everything I told her. You can tell she is really passionate about her work.
One member of her staff was also just wonderful. She was kind, considerate, and patient. You can tell she has a very caring personality.
Would I recommend her? Absolutely 100%. Not only is she and her staff great, her location is also very accessible by public transportation.
TLDR:
If you're deciding which allergist to go to, then definitely consider Dr. Tolston. She's fantastic!

Dr. Tolston was recommended to me for my allergies and asthma. This was my first visit and she was very thorough. She did more in my first visit than in my ER visit earlier that week. Her staff was very friendly and took care of everything right away as well. I will definitely be going back to her for my care.

I've been sick for quite some time and finally decided it was time to see a Doctor. I was able to book with Dr. Tolston for the next day and was very happy I did. The office environment isn't the most aesthetically pleasing but the staff and doctor were wonderful. Dr. Tolston was very knowledgable and is assisting me on my road to recovery. She took time to diagnosis me and even got me in the very next day for further testing. I will be coming back. Thank you!

I had a great experience with Dr. Tolston. I was particularly impressed with her approach towards treating patients, taking the time to run test and perform a comprehensive interview before rushing to a diagnosis.
I have had MANY bad experiences with doctors over the years. It seems as though the diagnosis is made without the need to see the patient.
This was not the case with the Dr Tolston. I look foward to my next visit.

I think Dr. Tolston is great in her field of practice. Unfortunately, I have decided to look for a new place for my allergy needs due to the repeating factor that her office team at the front desk are not professional and lacks proper standard practices of how to run a general office environment. There is an unusual time lag of returning patient's calls due to medications they need even though you repeatedly call them to follow-up, no one follow-ups with phone calls, they claim they are too busy. -I'm not sure how true that is, whenever I go in, the waiting area is fairly empty and staff of on personal calls or chatting among themselves. If you leave voicemails, they are ignored even if you leave two numbers to reach you back at and faxing any information over...you have to do it 3 times at least because no one checks the faxes and once they lost my fax.
The general overall practice has an old fashion way of operating and the staff lacks common courtesy and basic manners and it is a very home grown run place that comes off very unprofessional. the lacking of professional interact with clients is a real set back and no one ever gets back to you in a timely manner. after some times I noticed the service gets worse and worse, therefore leaving me no choice but to seek a different medical office for my allergy needs. It is very unfortunate, Dr.Tolston is a very good doctor.

I went they did some breathing test on me and after it's done the nurse asked me some questions that werent related to me and then she's like are you this person ( someone who has same first name as me) and i said no this is not me! Then she went out and disappeared for 15 mins left me waiting and when she came back she didnt explained to me what happened and asked me if i have another 45mins to do my skin test. What?

Wonderful dr. Was able to see me right away, less than 15min wait. Did all the testing and gave the treatment at the same day, I was treated for several months with antibiotics and it turned around I simply have allergies nothing else.. Thank you dr. Tolston.

Very informative. Going back for deeper testing. Dr. Tolston didn't rule any possibilities out. She really shows you details of the test and explains the true meanings behind numbers, so that you can understand in non-doctor terminology.

Dr. Tolston and her staff are great! I have suffered from horrible allergies for many years especially during Fall and Spring. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted by a lovely front desk reception which was refreshing. I waited less than 10 minutes to see the Doctor, who was very kind and attentive to the problems I had. The Doctor ran tests and kept me informed throughout my appointment which was very helpful. Looking foward to my follow up.

I really like her. She is thorough and kind. Most of her office staff is delightful as well. The only thing is that she seemed to drag out testing/treatment over the course of many appointments. I had separate appointments for testing and discussion of the results.
