Faisal Lalani is originally from Michigan City, IN, and currently provides his pain management services to patients in Los Angeles. Dr. Lalani is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. He is affiliated with the Mission Community Hospital and received his medical education at the Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate residency training at the New York Hospital in internal medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency at the University of Southern California. He completed his fellowship in pain management at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Lalani provides techniques with expertise and care, such as epidurals, facet joint injections, rhizotomies, SI joint injections, stem cell injections, and joint injections. His compassionate disposition calms his patients as he provides care with patience and a careful ear. Dr. Lalani treats patients experiencing shingles, foot pain, arthritis, herniated discs, facial pain, and spondylolysis.
In his spare time, Dr. Lalani enjoys scuba diving, international gourmet cooking, and tennis. His parents live in Arizona, and he maintains a close relationship with them.
PLEASE NOTE:
As a pain specialist, Dr. Lalani understands the use of opioid medications as needed for chronic or acute pain conditions, however, these are used as a last resort and only after care has been established with the physician. Dr. Lalani believes that successfully treating pain is best done by diagnosing the underlying problem and directly treating it. Opioid medications, while necessary in some cases, do come with significant risks.
