The waiting time was like 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly in the office. Once in the room and changed the doctor came in within 5 minutes. I love that they do an ultrasound after the exam to make sure everything was ok with your ovaries and cervix. I do feel that the visit was different than my other visits... Usually I get a breast examination and the doctor does a physical examination. Here I only got a Pap smear done and the ultrasound.

More about Dr. Faraj Touchan, MD
Faraj Touchan, MD, FACOG is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and FLS certified from the American College of Surgeons. He has a special interest in minimally invasive GYN surgery, and has performed thousands of surgeries for conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis, as well as urogynecologic and infertility procedures. He joined The Center for Innovative GYN Care® (CIGC®) in 2019.
Dr. Touchan is member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, as well as the European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy. He has earned multiple awards in education and research, including Physician of the Year Award in New York.
Dr. Touchan graduated from the Aleppo University Medical School in Syria, and completed his residency at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY, where he was appointed chief resident. He enjoys teaching and was an associate professor at the University at Buffalo. He is currently a Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgery mentor in the RWJ-Barnabas residency program.
