After completing Medical school at Ross University, Dr Feryal Hajee went on to perform her internship at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, where she was awarded “Intern of the Year”. She then completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and then fellowship training in adult and pediatric Allergy and clinical Immunology also at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. She was clinical assistant professor at SUNY Downstate Medical School where she taught and trained medical students and residents. She has been recognized as one of “America’s Top Physicians”, 2009 and continues to reach out to patients by lecturing at schools and community centers to educate and screen people for chronic illnesses such as asthma. Dr Hajee has researched in several areas with publications in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology as well as the Annals of Clinical & Laboratory Science. She is also a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr Hajee has had several expert guest appearances in the media including Channel 12 news, PRN Desi and Dhoom FM, discussing various issues on Asthma and Allergies. Dr. Hajee has over 8 years in this profession and has treated many patients with asthma, allergies and immunology disorders.
