I was tad upset with the doctor precribing me heavy pain killers for days before and during my period. And decided I am never coming back when he wanted my further tests to be done from 2 very specific labs in upper east side because he said he did not trust anyone else and if the reports were not satisfactory i would have to get the tests again from either of his 2 recommended sonogram facilities- i hate it when doctors work the nexus like this. That is when I decided I was not coming back. Also, everything is very archaic- the clinic makes you feel like you stepped into the 60's. The weighing machine is so weird and old- nothing like I ever saw before. They do not even accept credit/debit card payments- only cash/cheques. And the same feeling resonated in the treatment he prescribed- full of painkillers like the doctors did in the old days without focusing on the damage these pain killers do to the body. Other than that Dr Fouad seemed pretty kind and soft spoken and sense my anxiety and was very comforting in the way he spoke with me.

I felt very comfortable throughout the entire visit! I’ll start your saying that I love the office as it made me feel like home, very clean and organized . Dr. Surur patiently listen to all of my concerns and answered my questions one by one . I did not feel rushed at all as I had so many things to clarify. He is a good advisor too. I highly recommend his services, you won’t regret it I promise!

Excellent doctor. Delivered my two boys. Very trustworthy, thoughtful and caring doctor. Takes all the time necessary to discuss with the patient and listen to their concerns / questions. Does not rush appointements or schedule back to back appointments. Very knowledgeable and experienced. Highly recommended ob/gyn!

Dr. Surur is my favorite doctor. He's warm and inviting and incredibly patient when describing what's happening in my body. His office is comfortable -- not sterile or cold. I've never waited more than two minutes. And sometimes, when you call the office, he picks up! Just the best.

Gentle and very thorough doctor. Took his time, did not rush, listened and answered every question I've had - and I had a few! He has a lot of experience in this field and a wealth of knowledge.
The small apartment-like office is cozy compared to cold medical clinics. It's fairly old-school here though (the equipment for instance took me some getting used to) but it doesn't matter as much as the care being given.
Plus this doctor is on ZocDoc with available appointments and an option to fill out your necessary paperwork on ZocDoc's platform saving you time at the appointment.

Dr. Surur's office is located on the Upper East Side in a nice quiet location in the city. The office is very very clean and cozy from the moment you walk in. Dr. Surur took his time in the consultation room before moving to the examination room and went through my medical history extensively. He genuinely made me feel comfortable and his staff is very polite and discreet. His bedside manner is very gentle and comforting, and probably the best experience I've had during an annual check up EVER. I highly recommend Dr. Surur for anyone looking for a great professional in NYC.

He was very thorough in his exam and also in the consultation we had in his office before moving to the exam room. His thoroughness made me realize that every ob/gyn I saw prior to him just sort of went through the motions and didn't do as thorough of a job as they should have.

Honestly, it was the best OB-GYN appointment I have ever had. Dr. Surur was extremely informative, kind and patient. I had a in-depth consultation before my annual checkup and a follow up to discuss immediately after. Never once felt rushed and was encouraged to give as many details as possible about medical history and any issues I had. Definitely will go back! And also there was no wait time- great office.

My visit with Dr. Surur was relaxing and pleasant as always. I am able to speak about my issues freely with most understanding. Dr. Surur is still one of the few doctors remaining with the old ways of having a real doctor-patient relationship where he takes time to speak with you and explain with patience.
