This doctor was nice to me in the office and and he took his time to answer all my questions but, he told me he would give me 10 days of augmentin for my strep throat, he only called in 7 days. When I and the pharmacist called to see if he would correct it, he was on vacation but when he spoke to his assistant, he told her that I “should be fine” and that if I “had any issues, to come back to see him”. (How convenient) Even my pharmacist was shocked because the standard treatment for strep throat is ten days. So, I write this as I sit in an urgent care to be seen so that they can prescribe me the remaining 3 days to finish treatment. What a horrible thing to do to a patient. Very disappointing
