I recently visited Dr. Bauchman for the first time and she was fantastic. She was very nice, an attentive listener, and she had a great sense of humor. Everyone I spoke to at the office was so nice and I was immediately at ease - I typically get new doctor jitters but they went away pretty quickly. Wait time was next to nothing, even with the initial new patient paperwork I was back in the blistering heat in just under an hour. I'm really glad I chose Dr. Bauchman!

Dr. Bauchman obtained her medical degree from Stony Brook Medical School and received initial primary care training at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. She did her residency training in Family Medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at Mt. Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Bauchman is dedicated to providing high quality and compassionate care. She specializes in women's health care (Not a PCP) at the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center, following many years of work at other health centers. Her particular areas of expertise and interest are in contraception, treatment of abnormal Pap smears, and adolescent gynecology.
She has a loving husband and two wonderful daughters.

Dr. Bauchman is extremely warm, patient, and kind. I went in for an annual gynac checkup. She really listened to all issues and concerns I had. Dr. Bauchman went over multiple solutions and options elaborately. Not once did I feel rushed by her.
I’m never going to another gynac!
The rest of the staff, nurses, and assistants were also nice and patient.

Dr Gail is super down to earth, personable and knowledgeable. She took the time to discuss all of my concerns and provided options and resources for both contraception and fertility. I felt really comfortable during my exam, and didn’t experience pain which I usually do during Pap Smears. Similarly the nurse I saw and front office staff were a delight, helpful when my insurance showed up as inactive (it wasn’t) and friendly. Highly recommend Dr Bauchman and this practice.

I highly recommend Dr. Bauchman and the community health center. I was nervous for my appointment, but Dr. Bauchman, the nurse, and the administrators were all kind, informative, patient, and very helpful. Everything was thoroughly explained, and I did not feel rushed at all.

Gail is AMAZING! She is super supportive and very knowledgable. She made me feel so comfortable and gave me a ton of information. The office itself is annoying - I experienced long wait times and they told me the wrong appointment time. But I would go back because Gail and the nurses are all incredible!!

Dr. Bauchman has been my OB/GYN for a few years now. She is knowledgeable, professional, and she has very good bedside manner. She always asks about my life events and new habits to better understand and assess my health condition. In addition it is ALWAYS fun to have a conversation with her.
I went to see Dr. Bauchman recently because of missing period. Tests were done, she examined me gently and asked me not to worry too much. From her experience, she pointed out that my frequent travel could have thrown off my period cycle.
I think the fact that she practices at Charles B. Wang Community Center says a lot about her - she is willing to serve the financially less well-to-do community. This was the reason why I chose her in the first place, and I'm happy to say this was an excellent choice.

She was WONDERFUL. It was my first ever GYN appointment and she couldn’t have made it more comfortable for me. She thoroughly explained everything that was going to happen, and answered any questions I had. She was very empathetic and kind. I highly recommend this doctor!

I was seen shortly after arriving, and my preliminary intake with the nurse was quick but thorough. Meeting with Dr. Bauchman was excellent - she asked all of the right questions, seemed to genuinely care about my health, and provided a lot of insight and information. The best doctor I've had in the city - I wish I'd met with her sooner!
