Dr. Garen Azizi, D.P.M is a new physician to Gelbmann Podiatry. He is passionate about providing the utmost patient care to his patients and enjoys treating challenging foot and ankle pathologies.
Dr. Azizi graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Azizi received an extensive training in sports medicine, trauma, foot and ankle surgery, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, wound care, and routine foot care. Dr. Azizi is American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) candidate.
During his free time, Dr. Azizi enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time with his family and traveling. He is conversational in Spanish and fluent in Armenian and English.

Dr Azizi was amazing. I was in pain and had problem walking before my appointment. Dr A took care of my corns and calluses in a few moments and I was able to walk home! I highly recommend this doctor and practice.

This was my first visit to a podiatrist. I went in with Plantar Fasciitis issues; my left foot was swollen and inflamed. Dr Azizi had a great bedside manner. He examined me, explained the causes of my issue, took X-rays to confirm the diagnosis, then gave me an injection and prescribed medications. He answered all my questions patiently and courteously. I was also fitted with orthotic inserts.
The front desk person and nurse Bianca were also very professional and courteous. Overall, a very good experience! I would highly recommend this doctor and office to anyone.
