Dr. Gary Markoff is a founding partner of Lexington OBGYN. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Lawrence University with a BS in Biology. Dr. Markoff received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency training at the New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Markoff has been in private practice since 1989. Prior to founding Lexington OBGYN, he was in faculty practice at New York University Medical Center and served as the Chief of Gynecology at Bellevue Medical Center. He became board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1990. Dr. Markoff is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).
Dr. Markoff holds an academic appointment at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, serving as Associate Clinical Professor. He is accredited for OB and Gynecologic Ultrasound by the American College of Radiology. Dr. Markoff is currently a Medical Director of Lexington OB/GYN, PC.
