Dr. G. Brahmbhatt is a Family Practice doctor that cares for patients in our Hoboken office. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Rutgers State University in 1995 and his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 2000. Dr. Brahmbhatt completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Family Medicine Program at St. Marys Hospital in Hoboken, NJ in 2003. After completing residency, he worked at the North Hudson Community Action Corporation. Dr. Brahmbhatt is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at UMDNJ-NJMS and is in the process of being appointed to the Clinical Faculty of Family Medicine for New York Medical College. Dr. Brahmbhatt is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He was also recognized as an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist in 2009.
Dr. Brahmbhatt has a special interest in men’s health & wellness and anti-aging. Also, he is interested in international/global health medicine and has volunteered his medical skills in international health missions in India and Haiti. Dr. Brahmbhatt believes “education of the patient is of utmost importance. A patient needs to understand his or her medical conditions/concerns and only then can they have the best results possible from their medical provider.” Dr. Brahmbhatt’s medical philosophy is based on “treating patients as a whole and not ‘in sections’.” In his view, “understanding how the mind and body work together is essential in achieving healthy outcomes.”
Having been raised and educated in Northern New Jersey, Dr. Brahmbhatt describes himself as a Jersey boy at heart. For the past 11 years, he has been residing in West New York. When he is not in the office, he enjoys eating and cooking all types of food.

After one visit I was told that he doesn't take GHI. He's still on the listing here for GHI. Very fishy-strange-disappointing.

The doctor was great, the office was modern and clean, the wait time was short and all the equipment appeared to be new and in good condition.
Except for one person, the staff were all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, one of the staff members, I believe she was a nurse, spoke almost no English and appeared to be quite incompetent. She was trying to take some blood from my arm for routine blood work and just couldn't get it to flow. She stuck the needle in and then kept moving it around, which hurt, but more than that, just made me really uneasy. The whole time, she kept saying "This vein?".
I've given blood several times and I've never had a problem like that. My skin is pretty pale and the veins are clearly visible.

Dr. B was great! Friendly, helpful, very assuring, and he LISTENED. The last two doctors and the ER were quick to dismiss me after saying they can't figure out what's wrong but Dr. B is determined to work me with and figure everything out and was not so easily willing to give up!

Excellent! The wait was minimal (~10 minutes) Admittedly, I arrived one minute before my scheduled appointment and had to fill out new patient paperwork. Dr. Brahmbhatt was thoughtful, poised, well-spoken, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he made me feel like I was the only patient on his schedule for the afternoon. I will definitely return.

Dr. Brahmbhatt is amazing! The wait was a bit long from the time the nurse took my vitals to seeing Dr. Brahmbhatt, but the doctor apologized. Dr Brahmbhatt is great. I went for a routine physical and he took his time to answer all my questions and didn't rush at all. He was thorough and professional with a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Brahmbhatt is excellent; he's a thorough and sincere physician who is responsive and seems to genuinely care. He's not quick to jump to conclusions when there's a degree of uncertainty regarding symptoms, a conservative approach to medicine which is much more engaging than some other come-in-and-i'll-give-you-a-prescription doctors. The office staff is excellent, responsive, and they make the process pretty seamless. I had a great experience both in the initial meeting and the follow up; would highly recommend.

I visited this doctor for stomach pain and to get guidance on family planning as my husband and i want to have a baby this year, when i asked the doctor some important tips when trying to conceive and how do i know my fertile days, he responded "do you have an iPhone, just download an app". he did not even give me a prescription for my stomach infection, which he mentioned he would. His attitude was very casual and he wasn't very forthcoming in giving information/advice.

There was a hr+ difference on when Zoc Doc booked my appointment to what the doctors office had available. My appointment was set for 3:15 but the office only had a 4:30 available.

I have been a patient of Dr. Brahmbhatt's for 6 or 7yrs, and even followed him to this practice from his former position at Hoboken University Medical Center. His bedside manner and genuine care for his patients are evident upon first meeting, and his skills as a physician are also top-notch! The support staff here contributes to the warm and welcoming environment, and their professionalism instills a sense trust in patients.

Overall okay, but might look elsewhere for a primary care doctor. I felt a better connection with the nurse and felt as if she cared more about why I was visiting than the doctor did. The office staff was friendly and organized, really couldn't ask for more in that respect.
