About Dr. Gaurang Brahmbhatt

Dr. G. Brahmbhatt is a Family Practice doctor that cares for patients in our Hoboken office. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Rutgers State University in 1995 and his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in 2000. Dr. Brahmbhatt completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Family Medicine Program at St. Marys Hospital in Hoboken, NJ in 2003. After completing residency, he worked at the North Hudson Community Action Corporation. Dr. Brahmbhatt is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at UMDNJ-NJMS and is in the process of being appointed to the Clinical Faculty of Family Medicine for New York Medical College. Dr. Brahmbhatt is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He was also recognized as an American Academy of HIV Medicine Specialist in 2009. Dr. Brahmbhatt has a special interest in men’s health and wellness and anti-aging. Also, he is interested in international/global health medicine and has volunteered his medical skills in international health missions in India and Haiti. Dr. Brahmbhatt believes “education of the patient is of utmost importance. A patient needs to understand his or her medical conditions/concerns and only then can they have the best results possible from their medical provider.” Dr. Brahmbhatt’s medical philosophy is based on “treating patients as a whole and not ’in sections’.” In his view, “understanding how the mind and body work together is essential in achieving healthy outcomes.” Having been raised and educated in Northern New Jersey, Dr. Brahmbhatt describes himself as a Jersey boy at heart. For the past 11 years, he has been residing in West New York. When he is not in the office, he enjoys eating and cooking all types of food. He also enjoys outdoor activities.
