Gayle Grossman-Alweiss, MD graduated magna cum laude from Brown University and earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1991. She completed her residency training at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Grossman-Alweiss subsequently completed a fellowship in corneal disorders. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Finally found an ophthalmologist I feel I can trust. My previous ophthalmologist was pushing allergy tests (at HIS office--where no allergist was on staff) and it felt like a factory. Dr. Grossman and her staff were professional, pleasant and efficient from start to finish.

I had to wait a while to be seen, but once I did, Dr. Grossman spent a fair amount of time with me and patiently explained my diagnosis and answered all my questions. She seemed to know her stuff and was both thorough and compassionate, which is pretty hard to find!
