I have never met an eye doctor with such an amazing bedside manner that Dr Joseph provided. From start to finish, I was amazed by the professionalism provided by himself and his practice, Metro Eye Center. His receptionist is great, and she quickly set me up for an appointment as early as same-day. Registration was easy, and most of the paperwork is filled out on an iPad. I was roomed and only waited a few minutes before Dr Joseph was able to see me.
Dr Joseph was very patient with my refraction exam, and went above and beyond to find the right prescription for me. He noticed that my eyes had been over-corrected with my previous prescription, and was able to drop down my power by a whole diopter in each eye. He also did a thorough dilation exam and commented on findings that were never mentioned to me by previous doctors.
I was very impressed with this clinic. It's conveniently located and on the first floor. Parking was free. Clinic has free wifi. I will definitely be coming back. Phenomenal care.

Pleasantly impressed with my experience at the Metro Eye Center. This place is state of the art but still holds a sense of intimacy and warmth. Dr. Joseph is a board-certified ophthalmologist in the DFW area. I was seen very promptly after my arrival with Dr. Joseph giving a close inspection to my eyes and vision. He was also very kind to thoroughly explain his findings and go over his recommended health plan. I would not hesitate to recommend Metro Eye Center to my friends and family. Must Go!

Dr. Joseph is a board-certified ophthalmologist who founded Metro Eye Center in Dallas, Texas in 2018. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology and is able to diagnose and treat a variety of eye diseases. Dr. Joseph performs cataract surgery as well as routine eye exams including: diabetic retinopathy screenings, dry eye exams and glaucoma evaluations. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Joseph was born and raised in Texas. He grew up in Plano and graduated from Plano West Senior High. He received his bachelors of science degree in teaching biology at The University of Texas at Austin. He completed his medical education at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and then went on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock for his ophthalmology residency.
After completing his training, Dr. Joseph joined the West Texas VA hospital in Big Spring, Texas (about 300 miles west of Dallas) as a staff ophthalmologist where he enjoyed taking care of deserving veterans. He also trained future ophthalmologists in the clinic and operating room working as a clinical assistant professor in the TTUHSC Department of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Joseph is excited to be back in Dallas and is ready to serve the eye care needs of his patients in North Texas. He established Metro Eye Center in 2018 with the intention of providing quality healthcare with a caring approach.
In his free time, Dr. Joseph enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, and cheering for the Dallas Mavericks, Cowboys and UT Longhorns.

Dr. Joseph is the most thorough eye doctor I’ve ever seen. He took his time and talked through all the steps in the exam. And the bonus is that I can now see better than 20/20 with my new glasses prescription!

I thought Dr Joseph was very prompt and took time to explain my disease states to me. I did not feel rushed or dissatisfied with my visit. His receptionist is also very kind and helpful!

Dr. Joseph really does care about your eyes! He spent a good amount of time making sure I felt comfortable with my new contact prescription and also made sure to help me book my next appointment for glaucoma screening. Highly recommend!
