I have gone the extra miles taking four-plus years of Fellowship training [in addition to the three or four years of standard psychiatry training]. I did so to gain the additional expertise to get the best possible results for my patients. That I have been successful is shown by my having long been appointed to teach and supervise the work of other psychiatrists, as an Associate Professor in two medical schools. By publishing national award winning clinical research findings, and by earning four Board Certifications [one requires the usual, every ten year re-certification]. These honors culminated in being named the [national] Professional of the Year in PSYCHIATRY.
Over 40 years of private practice, 25 of them in Colorado Springs, delivering big city, high quality, psychotherapy and medications management.
Over the decades, I've worked in programs from San Francisco to Maine, sometimes as Medical Director. I have had offices in the Aspen-[Old] Snowmass-Basalt-Glenwood Springs corridor. I have treated patients in Alaska, Georgia, Arkansas, and Missouri remotely. I can treat patients living anywhere, using remote telepsychiatry.
