Getting to know Dr. Michael Roman
Dr. Roman is fully licensed to practice medicine in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, with the authority to prescribe controlled substances including stimulants for ADHD, benzodiazepines for anxiety, and sleeping medications. He provides at-home computer-based ADHD testing for patient convenience. After booking, Transform with Roman will contact you directly to complete the required registration steps. Please note that Transform with Roman does not accept insurance; you are responsible for the full appointment fee. A superbill can be provided upon request for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. We accept all major credit and debit cards, including HSA and healthcare FSA benefit cards.
Dr. Roman completed his medical degree at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, followed by a residency in psychiatry at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Concierge Psychiatry Benefits include a flexible schedule with evening appointment availability, expedited virtual and online appointment scheduling. There are no recurring subscription or membership fees; fees are assigned per visit. Same-day medication prescribing is available for both in-person and home delivery pharmacies.

It was the best decision I've made in years by seeing Dr. Roman. I had texted him in advance about my issues due to the fact I was turned down by so many doctors where I live for mental health treatment due to alot of trauma,etc. So, without hesitation, he accepted me befoee I made the appointment online. I recommend him for EVERYTHING if that was possible. He is my favorite dr in along time that I've seen. When he accepted me, I finally had some HOPE AGAIN, that I was going to feel better and not got looked down upon.
He is excellent in all areas. I for once felt a weight lifted when I ended my very first appointment with the doctor. I'm so excited for the future with him by my side. I finally think I'll have a doctor for many years to come with him.

I reached out to Dr. Roman for Medication Management that was affordable and appropriate for periodic review. After the first contact, he was fully forthcoming about his practice and what to expect. I just switched to Dr. Roman, and honestly, it’s been such a relief! My previous psychiatrist didn’t really listen to me or take the time to assess what I needed, so I was super nervous about finding someone new. But Dr. Roman is amazing!
He’s really kind and attentive. From the moment we talked, I felt like he actually cared about what I was saying. He explained why my last treatments weren’t working and gave me different options to choose from. I loved that he involved me in the decision-making!
Thanks to his guidance, we’ve adjusted my treatment plan, and I’m already feeling a bit better with the new meds. It feels great to finally be heard and understood. I’m excited to see how this goes. Definitely recommend him if you’re looking for a supportive psychiatrist!

Dr. Roman is an excellent psychiatrist! He has great bedside manner, is knowledgeable, genuinely cares about his patients, and listens and answers questions thoroughly.
He’s not the type of psychiatrist seeking to get you on as many meds as possible but he also prescribes medication that his patients need that help them. I strongly recommend him to anyone seeking a psychiatrist.
