I felt really welcomed by the office, the receptionist instantly helped me select new glasses frames. The doctor was helpful and patient in answering my questions, and the appointment was quick. Truthfully, it was an efficient and helpful eye checkup and I found great frames for my updated prescription. I absolutely recommend this clinic.

Dr. DeRicco is dedicated to providing quality eyecare to all of her patients and delivering the highest quality of care. Dr. DeRicco completed her undergraduate studies at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. She broadened her knowledge through her various clinical rotations in contact lenses, ocular disease, low vision, and pre/post-op management.
At Sound Vision Care, Dr. DeRicco is dedicated to providing full scope primary care optometry from toddlers to the elderly through comprehensive eye examinations. She is passionate about fitting contact lenses from specialty contacts, such as RGPs and Sclerals for those patients with keratoconus to soft, toric and multifocal lens options. She is certified in fitting the FDA-approved Paragon CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy) lenses, as well as MiSight lenses for myopia control. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association.
When you schedule an appointment with Sound Vision Care, we set aside enough time to provide you with the highest quality of care. Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible. You will need to give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule. Failure to do so will result in a $25 no-show fee

Everyone in the office was great. When I first arrived the receptionist wasn't there and so the doctor herself checked me in and took my insurance and payment. I didn't even know it was the doctor until we got to the exam. The exam was through and all my concerns were heard. At the end she prescribed something that would be super pricy. Immediately she said not to worry and gave me a coupon so it would be free. How amazing! I will definitely go back.

I was a bit concerned because this was a new office that I was visiting as opposed to where I’ve been going for the past many years for my eye exams. They unfortunately stopped taking my insurance so I had to go elsewhere. I stumbled upon this location on Zocdoc. I’m happy to say that I was not disappointed at all. Dr. Gina and her staff were so friendly, so welcoming and understanding, extremely helpful and patient with everything. They make it very comfortable to get your eyes checked, as well as making sure that you leave with the right pair of glasses. I definitely recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.
