Glenn Eiger, MD, is the Program Director of the Internal Medicine and Preliminary Medicine Residency Programs. He is the Associate Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and Associate Professor of Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College - Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Eiger is a member of the Division of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
He is the recipient of the 1996, 1997 and 1998 Chief Residents' Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching. In 1998, Dr. Eiger received the Temple University School of Medicine Blockley Osler Award for Excellence in Clinical Teaching.
Dr. Eiger completed his residency and chief residency at Beth Israel Medical Center and his fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He has been named Top Doc, Philadelphia Magazine.
