Glenys has been interested in delicious food since she dreamed of owning her own Easy Bake Oven (she got a Barbie kitchen instead). She knows that joy in eating is at the heart of eating well for health. Glenys' medical nutrition therapy expertise covers a variety of treatment areas including eating disorder (with an emphasis on binge eating disorder), emotional/disordered eating, diabetes and pre-diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and heart health. Glenys has a passion for nutrition therapy rooted in the non-diet, Health at Every Size philosophy because she has seen first hand how health flourishes when people take a positive, not restrictive, approach to eating and self-care. She provides individualized care that supports clients' expertise of their bodies. Glenys graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from San Francisco State University and completed her internship with the VA of Greater Los Angeles.
