AWESOME!! I have been looking for a gyn practice I felt comfortable with for, forever basically. I've probably been to four different places in the last seven years and have not been happy with any of them. Gloria was fantastic. I felt immediately at ease with her. She really took her time to get to know me ask me questions let me ask her whatever I needed to. The people at the desk were super nice and efficient, the office was comfortable and clean and I was seen 10 minutes after my appointment time. My good gyno search has finally ended!

Partera or Comadrona are the Spanish words used to describe Midwife in Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic where my family is from. Translated they mean “woman who delivers or co-mother.” These words are used to describe the women who would deliver your baby in the backwoods where there were no doctors. Imagine my surprise when, during my second pregnancy, in a city hospital, I was being cared for by a Midwife. I grilled her about her profession endlessly and finally, instead of finishing my Bachelors in Business Administration, I turned around and started on my journey to a Nursing Degree. I graduated with a Bachelors in Nursing in June of 1989.
Much to my surprise, I loved nursing in Labor and Delivery and worked at North Central Bronx Hospital and then at St. Luke’s Roosevelt hospital for nearly 10 years before returning to school and achieving a Certificate in Midwifery in August of 1998. Upon graduation, I returned to St. Luke’s Roosevelt for several years and have been in private practice since 2005.

I visited the Brooklyn location (81 Willoughby) and waited an hour to be seen. The actual visit with Dr Dominguez was decent, however following up with my blood work test results have been horrible! No one in her office's knows the contact info to get test result since i went to a different location. This experience has been long and drawn out, never have i experienced this with any other GYN!

After suffering a miscarriage and having complications for 9 weeks after, she told me my feelings were "unjustified" when I told her I felt depressed and began crying in her office.
I've never been treated so horribly and coldly by a doctor and especially under such sensitive circumstances.
I would never recommend her.
Also her office is dirty.
There was blood from another patient on the floor and in the open trash can.
I felt unsafe and uncared for.

Dr. Dominguez made me feel very comfortable. She welcomed all questions and answered each one thoroughly. Some of my past experiences with other doctors have felt very rushed and impersonal, but Gloria made sure to take all the time necessary to make my appointment positive experience.
