Dr. Siegel was really patient and detailed. He asked every single question that makes you feel he is really digging into the real problem underlying, I went to see Dr. Siegel primarily due to continuous tinnitus in my left ear since I had a fungal infection last year, and since then the tinnitus never goes away, I came here to ensure that the infection is completely treated and not affect my mid-ear to get me even worse.
Luckily after the check, my ear seems to be fine and I believe I should just wait for the time to let my cure by itself. And I will definitely try some meaningful natural therapies to relieve or help me distract attention from the sound.

Yes, you will wait. But it’s totally worth the wait. This doctor will make you feel like you’re the only patient he has when he is with you. He will ask you every question under the sun that other doctors don’t think or bother to ask. You will never feel rushed or unheard, which, frankly, is rare these days. Plus, he’s fun and warm. Yes, his office is eccentric and he doesn’t pay attention to the time, so if you’re looking for a sterile, white coat, perfectly timed experience, this is not the doctor for you. If you’re looking for a caring , inquisitive doctor who is willing to explore possibilities to get to the bottom of your issue, I cannot recommend Dr Siegel highly enough.

Outrageous wait time and unhelpful staff. Not recommended unless you like hearing fourteen old clocks ring in the waiting area (serious).
December 3, 2019Ravi S.Verified patient
Dr Siegel was highly recommended to me, and I was excited to be seen. I had been warned about his wait time but given the amount of attention he paid to my concerns, I figure the wait is worth it. He explained his process, was funny and kind and eased my nerves during the exam. I look forward to the follow up I have with him soon. His office is wacky and FULL of clocks, but it feels very authentic to him.

He is the best doctor but he is late...almost always. Though, I will continue to see him as I have seen many doctors for my sinus (in different cities/continents) and no one comes close to him...

I had to wait a long time to see Dr. Siegel but it was worth it! He spent nearly an hour with me. He was extremely thorough and I felt that he was very responsive to my complaints as well as considerate of my concerns.

Dr. Siegel has been very thorough and accommodating every time I have seen him. Have a question? He has an answer and will go out of his way to ensure it doesn't go over your head. Seriously a great doctor that I highly recommend.

As other people have notes, Dr. Siegel's wait times aren't great, but HE IS WORTH THE WAIT! I highly recommend him - he runs late because he takes time with each patient to get to know them and treat them all at once.

Dr. Siegel is kind, thorough, and friendly. Most unusually, everyone in the office is also kind and friendly, and the office itself is a trip. Hardly what one expects from such a highly regarded professional Wonderful.
July 26, 2018Janet W.Verified patient
Please be careful before you visit this office. They charge so much without telling you what the total cost will be. I've one of the best insurance and I've visited the doctor twice for a sinus problem and received a huge bill from them.

Time in 1140 for my 1145 appt.
I walked out at 1330! wait time is awful!
On the other side, exam room is full of dirt and dust. So super dirty and nasty. I took some pix but not able to post it here. I swear, public restroom is cleaner. I would never recommend this person.

Other than the long wait, the doctor was great. I've been to many ENTs over the years, and Dr. Siegel was very thorough and really listened to my concerns.

Dr. Siegel performed life-changing surgery for me 15 years ago. I was pleased to find his same thoughtful, thorough approach to a minor, but persistent, problem now. I am grateful to have the benefit of his expertise.

Quirky original. Clearly knows his stuff. But making patients wait for over an hour to be seen first thing in the morning seems needless. Just schedule accordingly.

Dr Siegel has been my ENT doctor for the past several years, and he also took care of my elderly Mother during her latter years. He went out of his way to be helpful and supportive, and he and his staff have always been friendly. He has always done a good job with the technical aspects of treatment and provides ample time during visits. I've noticed some comments on other boards about "lateness" and have to admit that while he is occasionally running behind, that is because he provides the time each individual patient needs and does not rush people through their appts. This is in contrast to many of the major medical centers in Chicago where the bulk of the medical visits are done by nurses, physicians assistants, or residents, then the actual doctor only sees you for maybe 10" Dr Siegel always provides plenty of time and answers questions and concerns in a respectful manner. Also, when my best friend moved to Chicago and had no doctor and no health insurance, she was turned away by some nurse at the Hospital Where Patients Come First, so she then went to Dr Siegel's office, and he squeezed her in even though he had never seen her before. I would recommend Dr Siegel highly for both routine and complex ENT issues.

Interesting office and building. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Siegel is very pleasant and seems to be very capable. I had a good impression of him and his operation.

PA Meghan was fantastic. Completed exam and hearing test with great explanation of the process and what the results were. Doctor came into the examination room shortly after the PA was finished. Dr Siegel was able to explain my options and his recommendations with a little small talk, but never wasting my time.

only complaint was a long wait time of 30 minutes, but wit hthe extra time he spends with each patient, i see the trade off

This ENT office was like entering a physic room or an episode of the TWILIGHT ZONE.. Weird odd none doctor furniture in a tiny space, n to top it off there was so many different clocks all over the place, n I mean every where u turn freaking clocks. Imagine all these clocks making noises at the same time. CRAZY!! The exam room, the entire clinic, equipments n supplies appeared old, dusty n dirty, unsanitary. Dr Siegal looked like an old hippie from the 60's who did not take the time to really examine me. In n out.. It was really a gross place. I wanted to leave the minute I got there but for some reason I stayed. I have never seen a doctors office like this. I'm not going back there again.

I am always impressed with Dr Siegel and his staff. They know exactly what is going on with you and treat you quickly and efficiently. The only drawback is the wait time but that is only because he takes his time with you and every patient. I learned to bring a book.
June 9, 2016Rebecca S.Verified patient
Great doctor. Spent a lot of time with me. I did wait an hour and 45 minutes, but I anticipated a long wait and brought work with me to do.
September 4, 2015Rebecca P.Verified patient
I gave him 4 stars because the waiting time for a booked appointment was more than one and half hour which is disappointed to me and there was no apolopize at all otherwise I was comfortable with his approch and physical exam but he also did not ask me at the end if I have any question which makes me more happy to approve my point that to not let any doctor lead the visit but you are the one who pay for the it so do not let your feeling to save the doctor's time from expel your concerns about the issues that you have to be reassured.
March 24, 2015Initials hidden
I thought Dr. Siegel was friendly and very thorough with his examination. the only downside to this appointment was the wait time. I waited an hour and 30 mins before finally being examined. I understand that situations come up and it can delay other appointments but i wish that his staff would have conveyed that to me so that I could have rescheduled my appointment. It caused me to miss 3.5 hours of work and now have to use a half day PTO.

Wait time is brutal but it's because they are so thuroughly with every patient. Be prepared to wait, but he's an excellent doctor once you get in
February 8, 2015Jana F.Verified patient
Medically, I got everything I needed and I'm very pleased.
From my point of view, the only significant problem I had was the wait, nearly 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time when Dr. Siegel walked into the exam room. Both Dr. Siegel and the staff person apologized for the wait, but no explanation was given.
This is an interesting, unconventional office and waiting area, loaded with a collection of old clocks, stained glass items and other antiques. It's quite an adventure to be in the waiting area at noon when all the clocks go off at once!
If you are looking for a chatty, or warm and fuzzy, doctor, this is not the guy. He's professional, not social, or at least that was my experience.
