Dr. Zimmerman is the best MD I have visited. He is everything a provider should be: Attentive, Understanding, Authoritative, and Compassionate. He spent as much time with me and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. The Front office is also very pleasant and expedient. 5 Stars.

Dr. Zimmerman earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and completed his residency training in urology at the University of Florida. He completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York, with specialty training in robotic surgery and advanced laparoscopy.
Dr. Zimmerman is the Medical Director of Robotic Surgery at St. Clare's Hospital. In addition, as proctor for the da Vinci robot and for single site laparoscopic surgery, he trains other surgeons how to perform these advanced surgeries. Dr. Zimmerman performed the first single site laparoscopic nephrectomy in the State of New Jersey.
Dr. Zimmerman practices all aspects of urology, including stones, incontinence, BPH, erectile dysfunction, infertility, and oncology with particular emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.Dr. Zimmerman is certified by the American Board of Urology.
Dr. Zimmerman was nominated as a 2013 Patient’s Choice Award Most Compassionate Doctor through Vitals.

One of the best. His personality and caring bedside manner is what every patient looks for. He takes his time to make you feel as if you really matter as a patient. I needed robotic surgery and I wouldn't change a thing with picking this doctor.
