Once I was seen by the PA and Dr everything was great. The check in process was also easy. Waiting over an hour to be seen was not. Some communication about wait times before hand would be great especially with all the tech being implemented at NYU.

I did a lot of research before choosing a doctor for a possible major injury to my knee. I can say with confidence I chose the right guy for the job in Dr. Lomas. Very personable, professional, and very engaged in diagnosing as well as treating my injury. Highly recommend.
Verified patient
Dr. Lomas is the quintessential professional. The people that work for and with him are extremely friendly and his office is clean and comfortable. Though I have had to wait for long periods of time for previous appointments, this appointment had no wait at all.
Verified patient
Dr. Gonzalez-lomas was very professional. I got X-rays for my knee and the waiting was less than 30 minutes. I just wish that the consultation lasted more than 10 mins. I felt rush and my questions wasn't answered. My appointment was at 8:30am and I left the clinic at 9 am, that is including the X-rays and sign in time frame.
EXCELLENT.WOULD HIGHY RECOMMAND DR. GONZALEZ
Verified patient
Despite the long wait, (which I attribute to the popularity of this doctor, not a lack of hustle) I was very impressed with Dr. Lomas and his staff. He is kind, professional, articulate, and up to date on all of the trends and practices that relate to his specialty. His nurses are wonderful and his space is clean and organized.

Arrived late and he still saw me. Very attentive
Overall the visit was good, the doctor was professional and he explained things very well by looking at the X-Ray, at which time the doctor prescribed me an MRI for which they were supposed to get back to me with an approval code. It took them 2 weeks of me chasing them about it to provide it. I am happy with the doctor but not pleased with the delay caused.
He is very proffessional and makes patient feel comfortable at max. I would definetely recommend him to my friends and beloved ones.
Verified patient
He is honestly an amazing doctor. i was seeing another ortho for almost a year for an injury that he kept saying would heal on it's own i just had to keep wearing the expensive brace and doing physical therapy. i finally had enough and came to see dr lomas after a friend referred him to me. he took a look at my last mri and was shocked that the first dr hadn't done surgery. I am currently 3 months post surgery and it feels so much better almost as good as before my accident.

I did my research in looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon for my son. I work for NYU. When I read the comments and reviews it was all positive there was only one negative comment posted about the secretary Nicole. I still went ahead and booked the appointment I was not there but my husband had forgotten my son's Picture ID. I spoke to Nicole and faxed it to her from the first time we spoke she seems like a very professional well mannered person, I don't know who posted such comment about her and we need to remember we are all humans and it's not easy dealing with the phone ringing, checking in patients and verifying insurance we all have bad days but the answer for that is GRACE no one is perfect only our Lord Jesus Christ! Nicole also had the courtesy to validate our Parking ticket twice so Thank You Nicole keep up the Good work a good positive attitude will take you a long way. As far as the surgeon My son Loves his bedside manner and he seems very compassionate yes he is the Surgeon we have chosen to do our son's surgery. Thank You all for your help today! God Bless You All!! Blessing, Alma T

I appreciated his transparency about his reasons for diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Considering how many patients he sees per day, I felt attended to as an individual. He showed great interest and care for my unique needs. Also, his demeanor was very calm and soothing: very helpful for my anxiety.
Verified patient
Dr. Lomas is a smart and caring doctor. I finally resolved a 2+ year elbow issue with him. ( a completely torn tendon; no other doctors suggested an MRI) If my surgery goes well. I will come back and review again.
Verified patient
The best doctor I'v ever had! Dr. Lomas is an outstanding surgeon and an extremely compassionate person. His entire staff is very friendly and I have never had to wait for an appointment more than 30 SECONDS past the scheduled time. I wasted 2 years with other doctors and physical therapy. Dr. Lomas ordered an MRI and fixed the problem quickly.
Verified patient
Dr. Lomas is very attentive, but my x-ray request was not put through before my appointment as explained over the phone. Because of this I had to wait over 45 minutes to get my x-ray and then was very late for my appointment even though I arrived 30 minutes early. I was personally apologized to by someone who works in the practice, but it was very frustrating when I had to spend an hour and 45 minutes there when it could have only taken 45 minutes like it was expressed to me over the phone.
Went to see him after an extensive search to get the problems with my ankles corrected. My appointment was cancelled, and he sent me to yet another podiatrist, with less experience than him. In conclusion, had to go to HSS (Hospital Special Surgery), where an operation was preformed to correct my issues, and I'm doing well
He was kind, well spoken, empathetic and knowledgable. I am very happy to have found him after a prior bad experience with another orthopedist.
Verified patient
He is very precise and explains everything to you which is great. He does not give false hope. I like that. You walk out knowing what you have to look forward to or not. Very pleased with him and would highly recommend. Thanks!!
Verified patient
The overall visit with the physician was great. He was tentative and seemed to have taken his time with me. However, the experience with the initial office was unpleasant. Even if you make an appointment on zocdoc, you don't have the time slot until you've preregistered. I made the appointment a week before and the secretary called me the day before my appointment and left a voicemail that I must follow up with my reason for visit, insurance info, etc before I could see the doctor. I called her 4 times with no answer. On my way into the office she called and asked if I was rescheduling or canceling since I didn't fill out the information. None of this was communicated to me until the day before and I couldn't get a hold of her. It was confusing and created frustration.
The doctor is excellent and was very engaging. He drilled right down to my problem and made an excellent recommendation on how I should proceed into physical therapy for my injury. HOWEVER, the office, while organized, is incredibly slow-moving. I did not even see the doctor until 2 hours into my appointment, and then had to wait for almost 30 minutes when the doctor left to attend to another patient.
