He and his staff were some of the nicest individuals I've encountered in the medical field, being a former medical professional and military veteran(USAF) . I was treated with kid gloves and thoroughly enjoyed it and did not feel like any of my expectations weren't meet.

The staff was excellent. The wait time was hardly anything. He gave me a better prescription than I had before. I was called in once again to make sure the prescription was accurate. I thought it was commendable for a doctor to be so sincere about the diagnosis. I'll definitely be going back again.

Dr. Fracht brings a combination of clinical expertise, surgical skill, sensitivity, and compassion to his patients at Conshohocken Eye & Laser Center. He strives to exceed expectations as a physician and surgeon by thoroughly evaluating and diagnosing, explaining the risks and benefits of proposed treatment options, and ensuring proper follow-up until the symptoms are resolved.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, Dr. Fracht earned his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine followed by an ophthalmology residency at NYU Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in Corneal and Refractive Surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. He is Board Certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Dr. Fracht is currently in his fifteenth year of practice as an ophthalmologist. Prior to opening the Conshohocken Eye & Laser Center, he served as the head of Corneal and Refractive Surgery at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. In addition to his clinical and teaching responsibilities, he provided the program’s residents with training in cataract extraction and corneal surgical techniques at the Veterans Hospital of Lebanon.
Dr. Fracht has performed thousands of laser vision correction successes, in addition to corneal transplants, cataract extractions, and pterygium excisions. Dr. Fracht offers comprehensive medical and surgical services including: laser vision correction, corneal surgery, and dry eye care, as well as glaucoma and macular degeneration diagnosis and management.

I went in thinking I just needed a routine exam and new prescription for my glasses. Dr Fracht diiscovered several problems one which requires surgery. I am so glad I scheduled this appointment and the problem was caught early before permanent damage occured. I am pleased with the service I received and will be returning for follow up care. Dr Fracht seemed genuinely interested in my eye health. I am a large size woman and because of this he had to devise another way to exam my eyes than to just have me sit in the chair and lean forward. He didn't give up or treat me like I have the plague because of my size. I appreciated his patience in finding another solution so he could examine my eyes correctly.

Dr. Fracht's staff was very welcoming when first arriving. Dr. Fracht himself was very thorough in his examination and explaination of both the diagnoses and treatment that will be provided. Dr. Fracht and his staff did an amazing job to make you feel comfortable all while developing an action plan to get you back to 100%!

Dr. Fracht was a pleasure to meet, he was very bubbly and kind and I didn't feel as if I was wasting his time by talking about my medical issues. He asked about my job and talked with me about that for a few minutes before starting the examination which instantly made me feel at ease. His office is also just five minutes from my workplace, so my visit was even more convenient than I could've hoped for. I'm so glad I found him!

I was referred to Dr. Fracht by my family doctor due to what appeared to be an injury to my eye. I was seen immediately and given a thorough eye exam. Dr Fracht has excellent bedside manner and made me confident in his diagnosis and treatments. My follow up visit went well and my condition improved back to "normal". I was so pleased with my experience that I brought my 12-year old daughter in for an exam shortly afterwards.
