About Dr. Gretchen Brewer

Dr. Gretchen Brewer, originally from the Pittsburgh area, graduated with honors from Washington & Jefferson College in 1995. She received a B.S. and Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and graduated in 1999. After completing school, she started her career in the Washington, D.C. area but returned to Philadelphia where she has been practicing for the last 15 years. Dr. Brewer is therapeutically trained and is certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She also fits contact lenses and works with specialty lenses such as rigid gas permeables, bifocals and astigmatism lenses. Dr. Brewer is currently a member of the PCOS, AOA, POA, and Alldocs organizations. Dr. Brewer has also been an active participant in the Gift of Sight program and been on two international missions. Dr. Brewer currently resides in Abington, Pa. with her husband and children.
