Dr. Matthews was very informative and professional. She did not appear at all judgemental and clearly communicated all of my options. The wait time was minimal and Dr. Matthews did not seem to be in a rush during my appointment.
I have already recommended her to a friend and will continue to see her as necessary.

Dr Matthews is easy to talk to and listened to what I had to say. She encouraged me to make a separate appointment to do a biopsy on a particular spot so that the tissue could be sent to pathology, and I was relieved that I was getting it taken care of.

Very impatient to answer any questions. As OBGYN she is responsible before they refer to other specialists. And doesn't feel like she understands the concern. But overall very unhappy how things went.

Although we transferred to Dr. Matthews rather late in my pregnancy, she went beyond anything we expected to take care of us and make us feel welcomed. We are having our first baby, in our 20's, and despite extensive research feel very nervous. We ask a lot of questions and Dr. Matthews did not rush us at all. She took all the time we needed and answered every questions accurately, honestly, and without any judgments. I'm so glad we found her and chose her for such a big event in our lives and looking forward to meeting our baby.

Dr. Matthews was recommended to me by my previous OB GYN, who was no longer doing OB. I was apprehensive at first, but Dr. Matthews has been nothing but caring. I have always been a member of Kaiser. 4 years ago my employer changed insurance carriers. Since the change I have been disgusted with the options I have had. After meeting with Dr. Helen Matthews, MD my opinion has changed, she is an amazing doctor who makes you feel really comfortable. I feel so lucky to have found her! The office is amazing, and the entire staff is welcoming, polite, and very professional. I highly recommend Dr Matthews and her office and will be referring all my friends and co-workers!

This was my first visit with Dr Matthews and I couldn't be more please. The office was clean and very professional. She has an excellent bedside manner. She also didn't make me feel bad about not doing my regular gyne yearly.

Dr. Matthews was highly professional, answered all of my questions (I did have quite a few) and was kind and patient with me the whole time. She made me feel comfortable and I won't hesitate to make a new appointment with her when the time comes.
Her staff was also very professional and nice (did all the briefing with me, before seeing the doctor herself).
All the offices are clean and lovely furnished so even if you have to wait (which I didn't have to), it's a pleasant environment to be in.
No complaints at all, can only highly recommend you give her a visit.
